Every clip you add shows up as a thumbnail you can drag. The order you leave them in is the order they are joined in, and a clip you drop out of the list is left out of the merge.

A phone clip, a screen recording and a photo rarely share one shape, and a merged video has to pick one. Leave the width and height empty and every clip is normalised to the size of the first one. Type a width and a height and that becomes the output size instead.
How each clip is fitted into that frame is yours to choose: keep the aspect ratio and pad the gap with black, white or a blurred copy of the picture, crop in to fill the frame, or stretch the clip to the edges.
The output container is a setting too. MP4 is the default because it plays almost everywhere, and WebM, MOV, MKV, AVI, FLV, WMV and OGV are the alternatives.
Merging videos is free and needs no account. Every upload and download runs over an encrypted connection, so your footage cannot be read on the way.
Processing is fully automated: nobody watches your videos and they are never used to train AI models. You keep the copyright and the ownership of both the clips you upload and the video you get back.

Two is the minimum and there is no small fixed maximum. What limits you is how much you may upload at a time, which is higher on a paid plan than for a visitor without an account. The pricing page lists the current figures.
Yes. Clips do not have to match: they are all fitted into one output size, either the size of your first clip or a width and height you set yourself. You choose whether a clip that does not fit is padded, cropped or stretched.
Yes. An image is held as a still frame for as long as you ask, from 1 to 60 seconds, so photos and videos can sit in the same timeline. Three seconds is the default if you change nothing.
In the order you leave them in. Drag a thumbnail to move a clip, and remove the ones you do not want before you start. Upload order only decides where a clip starts out.
